Government

Bowling Green Town Hall

The Town of Bowling Green operates under the “Council-Manager” form of government. This form of government provides for a Town Council elected by the people, and a professional Town Manager appointed by and serving at the pleasure of Town Council.   The Mayor, elected by the public, presides at all Town Council meetings and represents the Town at various functions and meetings.

The Town Council and Town Manager of Bowling Green encourage citizen involvement in the governmental process. Residents are encouraged to come to Council meetings and make their views heard.  A special time period at the beginning of every Town Council meeting is set aside for citizens to address Town Council and bring up any issues or concerns as they see fit.
