Town Clerk 

Virginia Brooks began employment with the Town of Bowling Green on November 30, 1990.  She was appointed Town Clerk/Deputy Treasurer on November 18, 1991. 

Virginia was born in North Carolina and graduated from Ashe Central High School.  She has taken classes at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College and Rappahannock Community College.  Virginia is a member of the Virginia Municipal Clerk’s Association.  

Virginia is married to Robert Brooks and has a daughter Vicki and a son Robbie.  She enjoys spending her free time with her five wonderful grandchildren.
