A. Reese Peck
On April 1, the Bowling Green Town Council approved an employment agreement for Reese Peck to become the new Town Manager. Mr. Peck comes to Bowling Green with nearly 25 years of state and local government experience, most recently as County Administrator for Essex County, Virginia, where he served on numerous boards and commissions. While living in Williamsburg, Peck served on the James City County planning commission and oversaw the updating of the county’s zoning ordinances to ensure that they lined up appropriately with the comprehensive plan.
Mr. Peck holds a Bachelor Degree in Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of South Dakota.
Mr. Peck stated, “I am honored to have been selected by the Town Council look forward to working with the Council, town staff and the community as its next chief administrative official.”
Peck and his wife, Julie Apgar, live in Center Cross, Virginia.
